If, for whatever reason, the journals we recommend do not offer what you presently want, there are other creative ways to keep a journal for exercising.

I’ll often download a printable exercise journal if I am aiming at something specific which the journal addresses. For example, if I’m starting a running program, I’ll download & modify (if needed) a journal which is formatted for runners. I’ve also bought runners’ diaries from stationery stores.

But another idea that I use is to simply get a daily diary and adapt it to my workouts. In fact, I often use my own employment calendar/diary and frankly write in work meetings and tasks on the same dates as workout routines. Hey, that way, I never “forget” that my days need to be balanced between work & exercise.

Now, for most people, that idea might seem a bit messy so the following downloadable journals should do just fine.
