7) STRAIGHT LEG RAISES — PRONE: Repeat process used for Supine SLRL:ying on stomach, raise injured leg 6 - 12” off floor. Repeat and progress as detailed in above note. 8) PRONE FLEXION: Lay on stomach. Flex knee. Bring heel to butt. Hold. Slowly lower leg. Repeat and progress as per note above.
9) STANDING FLEXION: Stand leaning on a structure for balance. Flex knee. Bring heel up to butt. Keep thighs parallel. Hold then slowly lower leg. Repeat and progress as detailed in note above.
10) SEATED EXTENSION: While sitting, gradually extend lower leg until it is straight. Hold. Contract thigh muscles as tight as you can. Slowly lower. Repeat and progress as detailed in note above.
11) 90 - 45 DEGREE EXTENSION: While seated, gradually extend lower leg to a 45 degree angle. Your shin will be in line with the kneecap. Hold and slowly lower leg. Repeat and progress as detailed in note above. 12) SEATED CORD EXTENSION: While seated with a Sport Cord placed under ball of involved foot, extend your knee against cord pushing down and away, to -5 degree of full extension. Repeat 3 sets x 10 then reps, 3x15, and finally 3x20. Then progress by increasing cord density and returning to 3x10, starting process all over again. Click for knee rehab exercise, pg3
