The above links are to specific anaerobic exercises. Right below are grouped specific anaerobic exercises.

* Isotonic exercises include movements performed by weightlifting. Isotonic exercises help to build and tone muscle, increase strength and reduce fat.

* Isometric exercises involve exerting a force against hard or immovable objects (like wall). Muscles are held in a particular position for predetermined time periods. Isometric exercises are especially good for strengthening.

* Calisthenic exercises also strengthen. They do not involve any weights or equipments. Especially good for balance. Calisthenics should absolutely be a part of any exercise protocol. Examples of calisthenic exercises are pull-up, push-ups, squats and sit-ups.

* Interval exercises also called “Boost training,” may be the best exercises you can do. Exercises are considered "interval" if they include multiple series of intensity - rest. Examples include sprinting. But even walk - rest intervals can be considered interval if you’re out of shape. The benefits of interval exercise and examples are too many to get into here.

* Stretching/flexibility exercises certainly qualify as anaerobic. Hard to imagine doing exercises without having a period of stretching, preferably as a cool down.

* Pilates and Yoga, as complex systems of exercise are almost always anaerobic and incredibly effective. Personally, my cool down stretch includes many yoga movements or a full yoga session.

* Sports are the best examples of anaerobic exercise. Note that most sports involve periods of intensity and rest. Engaging in sports usually involves what interval training demands. The great benefits of interval training accrue to sports.

Frankly, if you just played sports, preferably that balanced out, stretched a bit, you’d be better off than going to the gym or running. Golf might count. Basketball, touch football, racquet sports all qualify, even if done gently.

Bottom line, if you can, go out and play.
