Do the following abdominal muscle exercise program in the comfort of your home without. Do these easy ab exercises several times a week to stimulate your ab muscles and keep your core strong.

Sucking in your stomach will make them more effective.

Be sure to gradually increase sets and reps.

Abdominal Crunch

This exercise works the upper area of your stomach and abs.

1. Start out by lying on your back.

2. Hands are crossed on your chest. Lie flat on the floor, knees bent. Always bend your knees because it helps support your lower back.

If you prefer, place your hands behind your head making sure not to strain your neck.

3. Slowly raise yourself up using your abdominals. Press your lower back to the floor. As you reach the top of the crunch, exhale gradually. Then slowly lower your back down to the flow while inhaling.


Reverse Crunch

This exercise works the lower part of your abs.

1. Start by lying on your back. Bend knees slightly with legs in the air while crossing your ankles.

2. Lay your arms on the floor along side you.

3. Rest your head on the floor. Keep your back straight.

4. Raise hips slowly, about 2 inches off the floor. Keep your hips steady. Avoid rolling them backwards.

5. Hold position for 2-3 seconds tightly squeezing or crunching your ab muscles while keeping your head and shoulders on the floor.

6. Then slowly lower hips back to the floor. Repeat the process.

7. Repeat 8 to 25 times, resting for about 1 - 2 minutes between sets. Perform 1-3 sets of reverse crunches.
