Barbell exercises

You will need a bench, possibly a small platform and preferably, barbell holder for shoulder press. The latter two would be nice, but a bench for bench presses is a must. If you don’t have, simply do push-ups instead.
Barbell exercises
Bench press (Chest)

* Lie on bench, feet flat on floor.* Lift weight from holder * Slowly lower barbell as pic shows, slowly, with control * When upper arms are parallel to floor, press weight back up * Repeat * Remember to inhale going down, exhale up * 1 - 3 sets, 5 - 15 reps
Shoulder press (Shoulders)

* Sit on bench, feet firmly on floor, little more than shoulder width apart* Grab barbell from support * Lower slowly as pic shows. Can lower to chest instead of traps * When upper arms are parallel to floor, press barbell back up * Repeat * Inhale going down, exhale up * 1 - 3 sets, 5 - 15 reps
Rows (Back)

* Feet are close together* Do on platform for greater stretch, but floor is fine too * Bend forward at waist, grasping barbell * Knees are slightly bent, upper body parallel to floor * Head is up, keep back straight * Pull barbell towards chest * Inhale on way down, exhale on way up * Inhale going down, exhale up * Repeat * 1 - 3 sets, 5 - 15 reps Click here for page 2 of barbell exercise (Coming soon)
