Welcome back, It's spring!!
* Exercise equipment, The Rack
I just received that piece of exercise equipment you may have seen on TV, The Rack. I have no financial incentive for giving The Rack a positive review.
Must say, it's very helpful if you work out at home.. Yes, it does look like a walker but it allows you to replace many other pieces of equipment.
Note, The Rack may not be quite so useful if you have significant physical limitations or are unsure of yourself when using weighted equipment. Otherwise, go for it.
* Herb for rosacea
The quercetin in capers eases rosacea. That’s because it reduces inflammation and redness. I am often averse to their taste but many people love them.

* Memory supplements
Magnesium and calcium help short & long term memory. They seem to help improve nerve connections which leads to better memory.
Oh, and as an added bonus, they normalize blood pressure and increase heart functioning. Both calcium and magnesium are super important supplements especially for very active people or seniors.

* Herbal teas to the rescue
Herbs do so much for us. Following is a list of herbal teas and some of their health benefits.
Oolong tea elevates metabolism for fat loss. And, is delicious.
Ginger tea helps manage migraines by blocking prostaglandins that trigger them. Tastes great too. Get fresh ginger root and steep in hot water for 10 minutes.
One of our favorite herbs, visit our page on the benefits of ginger
Ginseng tea sparks libido, acts like a mild Viagra for women & men.
Ginseng and ginger would be great as a combo. When you’re looking slimmer, feel no headache, it would just take a little ginseng, and, well, who knows?
* Canola oil for bone loss
I only cook with canola oil because many other oils are better as additions and enhancers for salads, cooked vegetables and soups. For them, I prefer olive, macadamia or walnut oils.

* Dr Oz on water contamination?
A Dr. Oz show titled, “Is your water causing you cancer?” initially broadcast on February 15, 2011, covered some of what Healthy Water has been on for a few years now.
Briefly it went over the problems with tap water being contaminated, specifically with chromium-6, lead, arsenic and perchlorate (rocket fuel). In addition, Dr. Oz went into the problems with bottled water, an issue Healthy Water has also dealt with.
Yes, the situation is bad and as the rest of the world marches towards greater industrialization, water contamination is much more likely to get worse.

Hopefully, the attention of a nationally recognized doctor will bring needed attention to these issues.
Frankly, while we might eat right, exercise religiously and take in high quality, healthy natural herbs, and supplements, drinking contaminated water would undo any good that living an otherwise healthy lifestyle confers. Makes sense, no?
* Just had a BM, now what?
Uh, ok, how should I ask this?
After you do the #2, you do wash up either the French way or, like civilized people I know, with moist towelettes, right?
You don’t honestly wipe with toilet tissue and that's it, right? No way, because you do know that, that doesn’t do the job? Because a tissue wipe leaves much behind and spreads germs around? Right?
You do, at the very least, use baby wipes, preferably natural and unchlorinated, huh? Just as I thought.
Comments? Ideas? Feedback? I'd love to hear from you. Just reply to Healthy World Digest and tell me what you think.
See you next month!
